A healthy coffee alternative, Bonsai Cha matcha powder contains L-theanine, antioxidants, chlorophyll and natural caffeine to keep you calm, focused and energized throughout the day. 

Bonsai Cha Special Selection Matcha

Previously Aoyama, we have re-branded this exceptional tea as our Special Selection blend. This matcha powder was easily a customer favourite and one that we at Bonsai Cha drink daily. 

Bonsai Cha Special Selection matcha powder is made from carefully selected first harvest leaves of the Okumidori cultivar, considered a rare cultivar in Japan. This matcha powder offers a smooth, round and mellow taste profile with low astringency with notes of spinach, fresh cocoa and biscuit with hints of dandelion and umami flavours. The finish is slightly sweet and lingering. A perfect choice for matcha enthusiasts.
